Evolve School of Ministry

There is a growing crisis in the Church today — a shortage of emerging pastors and ministry leaders prepared to shepherd, teach, and build the body of Christ.


The Evolve School of Ministry exists to respond to that need.


This is not a general discernment program.

This is for men and women who already sense a growing call to ministry and are ready to be formed, trained, and equipped to serve the Church.


Our goal is simple: raise up pastors and leaders for church ministry.

Timeline

Evolve School of Ministry will start on September 15th, 2026 and run until April 23rd, 2027. It will be a University-style calendar with one break per semester.

Schedule Commitment

  • 3 days per week (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
  • Sundays (serving within ministry placement)
  • 2 evenings per week (including Grow Nights)

  • What is the Evolve School of Ministry?

    Evolve School of Ministry runs from September until April. The program consists of weekly courses, mentoring, and hands-on ministry experience. You will be working in specific areas of the church such as service planning, small groups, youth, media, worship and creative teams, pastoral care, and next steps.


    The Evolve School of Ministry is intentionally designed as a journey of formation rather than simply a collection of classes. Each course builds upon the previous one, creating a holistic foundation for life and ministry.


    Foundations of the Faith establishes the theological framework by answering, What do we believe? Students develop biblical understanding and learn how truth shapes a Christian worldview.


    Leadership Foundations expands this further by asking, How do we lead people well through developing character, communication, resilience, and leadership skills?


    Personal and Spiritual Development addresses the deeper question, Who are we becoming? by focusing on spiritual formation, emotional health, and sustainable rhythms for life and ministry.


    Ministry Practice then asks, How do we serve? and equips students with practical ministry skills such as pastoral care, discipleship, prayer ministry, and teaching.


    Together, these courses move students from knowing the truth to practicing ministry, leading others, and ultimately becoming healthy, Christ-centred leaders.


    Throughout both semesters, students are not only gaining knowledge and practical skills—they are being formed into people who can faithfully live, lead, and serve for the long term


    The program will open you up to a broad range of ministry experiences, and all aspects of church growth, as we build the local church together.

  • What are the requirements?

    This program is for:

    • Individuals (17+, high school graduates) who know they carry a ministry calling
    • Those ready for formation within the local church
    • Emerging leaders from Evolve and potentially outside churches
    • Those with a clear ministry calling who are ready to step in.

  • What is the schedule like?

    Timeline:

    • September 15 – December 20
    • January 12 – April 23

    Schedule Commitment:

    • 3 days per week (Tues-Wed-Thurs 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
    • Sundays (serving within ministry placement)
    • 2 evenings per week (including Grow Nights)
  • What is the price for the program?

    The total price of ESM will be $4900.00 + GST. 


    This will include the cost of books and a retreat or conference.


    Application fee: $100.00 + GST

    Payment #1:  $2400.00 + GST Due before September 1

    Payment #2: $2400.00 + GST Due before January 1
